Before they get to your cup, coffee beans go through various stages. The harvest, the drying, the selection, the roasting and finally the brewing, all of them determine the quality of your cup.

• The roasting process is the most important during the transformation of the coffee. During this process, the coffee beans will loose 20% of their weight but gain up to 50% in volume. Our roasting experts use a special procedure where they slowly roast the coffee bean to perfection.

• After being roasted, the coffee is stored in silos for a few days and it is later packaged using high grade stand-up pouches with zip and valves, or coffee boxes with aluminized interiors. Our high-quality packaging is essential to maximize our coffee's conservation and flavour. Remember that coffee must always be protected from light and air.

• The next step consists in using good quality water, at least 5 grams of coffee Cafétienda per cup and the proper coffee brewing equipment.
